I don't grasp the negative reviews, frankly, because this little gem flies beautifully, trims up nicely at any altitude, has all the instruments anyone could want, and is at home landing on land or water. It's a flying vagabond's dream, best used low and slow, exploring the landscape, letting your imagination create a story. Landing on a lake or river, wheels-up, and then taxiing to the shoreline, dropping the wheels and rolling up onto the beach means you can explore almost anywhere with complete freedom. Flight plans? What for, when the entire sky and world below are your oyster, to be savored slowly?I've had fun creating journeys for myself, using Google Earth to kind of plan legs to interesting places, adding a narration to screen shots to share with my family and friends on FB; they love it, and I'm having a blast being a tour guide. Starting with a flyby of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, then working my way down into the south of France to Provence and Marseille, into Italy to Lake Como, Venice, Forence (landing on the Arno), Rome, and now I'm headed for Naples. This isn't about running an airline, or completing a flight plan, although you could if you choose; it's about visiting places you've always read about in your imagination, like a motorcyclist who just takes off to see the country, with nothing but a gas station map and a sense of adventure.Yes, I'm a hopeless romantic, and I'm proud of it. I've been flying FS in one form or another since my Commodore 64 days, and I'm really happy to have discovered Steam, and FS-X. This add-on is just the icing on a very sweet cake. Thanks, Dovetail - you made my day with this one!. its what it says it is if its not enough just go plan your own flights and get planes your self. Another beautifully crafted plane. The attention to (visual) detail is pretty astonishing. But as others have pointed out, this craft lacks both the Checklist and Reference pages on the kneeboard and requires a LOT of trimming. Don't expect it to fly straight under anything except the calmest of conditions. The flight plans are interesting enough. This is not a part of the world I fly much, and they serve as a welcomed reminder that there is an entire world to be explored in FSX! That being said, they aren't part of any mission and won't appear in your mission selector. Instead, you need to load the flight plans in Free Flight. And for those of you searching for those flight plans:C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\FSX\\DLC\\343952\\DLCMyDocsIf you are searching for realism, PDMG this is not. If you are looking for fun and interesting ways to kill time, this will keep you busy for several hours at least.. You access the flight plans by loading them when in free flight mode and follow them in the aircraft using the GPS. I bought this add on when on offer at just over £5 and recommend it, as not only do you get the plans but also the plane which for this price is good value for money. It covers an area of the globe that I don't often fly and has made things more interesting, particularly whilst using the FSX ATC.. Not impressed. They are not proper missions. There is not instructions. Nothing on the knee-baord. Just loadable flights. For what they are this should have been priced around £5 not £13. Seems very poor quality for the price. Lets hope the DLC for FSX gets better than this.
